In the pastry shops of the historic city center it will be possible to sample the sweet, in all the its varying: to the natural, covered one of white icing of sugar, spread of honey.

Note-This list was compiled from various sites, including the towns own event listings. However, event listings in Italy, especially Sicily, can be notoriously outdated. It you have your heart absolutely set on an event, do some snooping (that is go to the website and double check) that the event will be taking place. -- For example, I was excited to see that Mineo would be hosting an Olive Oil Festival in mid-November, but when I contacted Mineo I was informed they, sadly, were not. That's just the way it goes!
