Arrivederci!

I had big plans to write about this weeks adventures in Benevento and our pilgrimage to the abbey of Montecassino (not to mention our anxiety filled morning waiting on San Gennaro's blood to liquefy-- it did, phew!), but alas, the work week has come to an end (for me anyway!). Early tomorrow morning "South of Rome" is packing it up and heading, err, North!

Yup, you read right. Cinque Terre and Lake Como to be exact. Our first 3 nights we will be guests in a convent and the last 4 will be spent lakeside in a well appointed apartment (so they promise). I'm a little nervous about both sets of accommodations, but for different reasons. Will Lizzie be teething and start screaming-- after curfew? Will the 250 euro breakage deposit cover the antique vase my 3 year old is certain to crash into upon arrival?

But, before I go, I wanted to ask you this, would you get your hair cut at a place named, Crazy Hair? I came across this shop on our travels this week... it was closed.
